DMY extended: Allstars all over Berlin
The DMY Allstars are a new module of the DMY International Design Festival. For the first time, external locations spread all over the city of Berlin will take part in the event.
Over 35 exhibitors, designer groups from Germany and abroad as well as local creative minds will enhance the Festival with theme-based special exhibitions, group shows and open studios.
The event opens up to new dimensions as the exclusive and fascinating locations enable visitors to sample the Festival in a tangible and vivid manner throughout the entire city.
Countries such as Norway, Israel, Turkey and South Korea will not only present unusual and striking perspectives of the design scene, but also transform them into vibrant, individual experiences. Visitors can thus look forward to a broad spectrum of exhibitions and shows that will take place during the entire Festival.
By introducing the DMY Allstars as new module, the Festival responds to the numerous requests of national and international designers, while including the work of renowned and established creative agents in the DMY International Design Festival.
Design Shuttle
On May 22, a DMY Allstars exhibition circuit will take place. The tour will focus essentially on the external exhibition locations. From 5 PM to 9 PM, visitors are invited to discover the different locations throughout the city on board of a shuttle bus. A special programme with previews, cocktail receptions, presentations and other special events will transform the exhibition circuit into an inspiring design safari.
