Pecha Kucha Berlin and DMY join forces for a spirited lecture evening: 14 eminent speakers present their ideas and their work while scrupulously abiding by the Pecha Kucha format: 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds. A presentation lasts 6 minutes 40 seconds – enough time to explain one’s personal work approach while getting the basic message across and keeping the audience on its toes.
Such was the original intention of Tokyo-based architect Mark Dytham when he devised the 20/20 format in 2003 in reaction to conventional, sprawling presentations. In the mean time, Pecha Kucha evenings have been popping up all over our planet - from L.A. to Berlin via Auckland.
All presentations will be archived and offered via podcast subscription.
