Various designers started to create koi related artworks. To visualize the partnership with supporting company Onitsuka Tiger the morphing-koi-to-sneaker image was developed. To deepen the relationship and let his dream of KOI KLUB sneakers become reality big sneaker fan Nishiumi designed his first KOI KLUB trainer collection referring to the koi icon swimming within water surrounded by bamboo. A second collection followed and a third is in development stage.
