Old drawers, deriving from another time, full of stories, often have been crafted in usual high quality style. They outlive their original native place for quite a bit, this is why they should obtain a second or maybe even a third chance and one should build them a new home. Franziska Wodicka, the foundress and designer of schubLaden illuminates the orphaned drawers through formal plainness - the new corpus respectfully stands back. Unique pieces of furniture with history emerge. The bodies are mostly made out of varnished or oiled MDF boards or if the drawer allows it, out of oiled solid wood.
