Duncan McCauley explores the borders between architecture and film, through creating hybrid works that focus on the intuitive qualities of space and its narrative potential – Narrative Space. For DMY Allstars they have created a Cine-machine inspired by early cinematic devices, to explore crossing pathways in urban ecology.
Through a physical interface this optical machine invites the viewer to create a moving image and thereby experience the biodiversity of the city.
