The VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Embassy gives a foretaste of the festival (October 1–11, 2009) showcasing highlights of „Passionswege“, a series of experimental projects developed by traditional Viennese manufacturers with young designers. The presentation includes „City Shades“ by Maxim Vel_ovsk_ and J.&L. Lobmeyr (see image), Marco Dessí’s installation and  limited edition „Cap’s“ for Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten and the charming chandeliers of Megumi Ito. Drinks: Friday June 5./5pm.
