Washi – changing spaces
(Daniel Bickel, Bernd Kuhn, Yasuko Tamaru) Ichikawa-Daimon/Japan (Masahito Muramatsu)
Takumi · Oranienstrasse 183/184, Berlin, GermanyShow on map
Takumi produces lights, partitions and further objects out of wood and traditional washi, which are the characterizing elements of the Japanese interior. Takumi also develops products such as shades and furnitures, while experimenting with the relationship between light and shadow and archaic and futuristic materials. Takumi imports directly from japan and distributes to processors and designers.
