DMY Klublabor International

Shake off all the excess energy of the day at DMY Klublabor parties – lighting up the festival nights. The rise of the format has happened just as rapid as the moving, shaking and growing of the DMY festival itself. In the first years, international, national and of course Berlin-based clubs were invited to present their specific design, interior and sound, turning an exhibition hall into a club, different each and every night. Meanwhile, the Klublabor has turned into a permanent program feature: Together with DMY Berlin it tours all over the world hosting nights at international key festivals for product design. The first international premiere took place at Klub Solfa in Nakameguro Tokyo featuring DJ Female Macho (GER) and Toby Nation (JP) and Jpech.net (GER/NL) during last year’s Tokyo Design Week.

For this year’s festival the DMY Klublabor gets its own venue. While last year’s Klublabor toured through the city and hosted parties at its most favourite clubs, this year we will reside at the new location of famous WMF Club in ‘Berlin Mitte’. No one less than the Sick Girls will take care of the musical in ‘n’ output with their immaculate sense of style:  Come and celebrate with us from the Opening Night – presented by Bombay Sapphire – on Wednesday to the Grand Finale on Saturday.
