The concept originates from Tokyo and is pretty easy: The speakers of the entertaining short lectures have just 20 seconds to talk about each and every one of their 20 slides.
The Pecha Kucha Night has brought this popular format to Berlin and regularly invites artists, designers as well as entrepreneurs, curators and scientists to present their ideas and to tell their stories.
The speakers of the festival edition of Pecha Kucha Night are, among others, the photographer and recent participant of documenta Armin Linke, the physicist Martin Springer and the Volvo expert Robert Richter.

Design Shop Day
6 June, 10:00
Shops all over Berlin
Hunting design that fits into your life can be a difficult task. The DMY Design Shop Guide equips you with a fine sortiment of weapons to find whatever you like. Besides the possibility of shopping design items from the exhibitions at the DMY Youngsters store, we selected design shops through-out the city which are worth a bike-ride.
Especially on the festival‘s saturday, when the design shops will host small events and present special offers: from small gigs to special exhibitions to highly remunerated design competitions. The DMY Design Shop Guide (published in cooperation with Tip Berlin) will give you an overview of all participating shops and actions of the day.
