DMY International Design Festival Berlin 2010

FIDU technology ETH Zurich and Zieta Prozessdesign present the process of the FIDU technology, an invention of Oskar Zieta and Philipp Dohmen at ETH Zurich. FIDU (Free Inside Pressure Forming) is a technology based on car manufacturing that allows extremely stable lightweight structures. Sheet steel, laser cut, welded, infated by air pressure. The exhibition reflects the development of materials, prototypes, machinery, documentaries to applied and experimental results. The show is conceived as an ongoing work in progress featuring the entire range of FIDU applications and hands-on, on site production.
