In the course of DMY International Design Festival 2012 the ›Federal Competence Center of Culture and Creative Industries‹ (Kompetenzzentrum der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft des Bundes), regional office Berlin/Brandenburg, invites to the roadshow ›11 Impulses for tomorrow‹ to the topic sustainability in culture and creative industries.
Sustainability today plays a central role, especially for small businesses, freelancers or start-ups in culture and creative industries. Also designers and architects increasingly engage in ecological and social issues and a sustainable ecological development. All in all the industry sector generates numerous innovative approaches to sustainable economic activities: from new, profitable business models to creative impulses that are relevant for the whole society.
At the workshop ›11 Impulses for tomorrow‹ local and national speakers will discuss the central question ›How can businesses in culture and creative industries set an impulse for a sustainable economy and society?‹. On the basis of case studies the workshop reflects different experiences and perspectives.
Participants are required to register until June 6 via kreativ@rkw.de (with the subject of the workshop-title). Further information regarding the DMY ticketing follows with the confirmation of the registration.
