During the course of the entire festival makers, designers and visitors are invited to meet within the framework of the ›Human Rights MakerLab‹ in order to discuss today’s meaning of human rights. Together they explore how the message of human rights can be spread to the world through design.
A Planning Party in Open Design City will kick start this process of collaboration. Participants will meet each other to share their past experiences and learn from contributions of previous MakerLabs. Furthermore they can reveal their motivation for participation and expectation of the MakerLab, as well as generate common ideas for their realization at the festival.
Date: Fri, 18th May 2012; 7pm
Address: Open Design City — Betahaus, Prinzessinenstrasse 19-20 , 10969 Berlin-Kreuzberg
Those who can not make the planning action can register directly for the ›Human Rights MakerLab‹ under the following link.
The MakerLab is jointly organized by DMY and Open Design City.
