Takumi presents the results of a cooperation undertaken together with the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design. Takumi will introduce objects made out of Japanese paper in a workshop held with students from the faculty of Conceptual Textile Design.
Usually such papers are used for interior design elements like curtains, sliding doors or room dividers, which profit from the paper’s translucent and resilient nature. At the workshop, students worked with the material and studied its technical and creative potentials to develop a range of ideas for new products.
